Kids Travel Baseball (KTB) – Summer Baseball Done Right
Looking to keep the baseball fun going after Little League season wraps up? KTB (Kids Travel Baseball) is a non-profit, developmental summer league designed for kids who just want to keep playing. With games every Monday and Thursday at 5:30pm and a schedule that kicks off right after July 4th and wraps the first weekend of August, KTB is the perfect way to make the most of Maine’s best baseball weather.
York Little League is organizing teams that will play home games at Smith Field. This is a great opportunity to continue the season in a fun, relaxed setting focused on development and sportsmanship.
- We’ll handle team assignments based on registration numbers and age groups
- Ages 8U, 10U, and 12U – players can play up in age, but not down
- Not affiliated with Little League or AAU – but we play on local Little League fields
- Registration will likely be $100 or less per player
- Season ends with a Round Robin Tournament – a fun wrap-up with teams from across southern Maine
What this Is & Is Not!
This is NOT All-Stars. This is about development, sportsmanship, and keeping the game fun. Games follow standard Little League rules unless modified, and everyone bats with free substitutions. Coaches work together to keep games balanced and meaningful.
If your player loves baseball and wants to keep going this summer, this is for them.
Coaches Needed!
We’re also looking for volunteer coaches! If you enjoy working with kids and love the game of baseball, we’d love your help. No formal coaching experience required — just a positive attitude and a willingness to support the team. Coaching is a fun and rewarding way to stay involved this summer.
