YORK, ME — York Little League (YLL) is proud to
announce the launch of its Winter Baseball and Softball Clinics, a new initiative designed to offer
accessible, high-quality player development during the off-season.
The program, held at York High School Gym, aims to keep young athletes active and
engaged through the winter months. The clinics are divided into two 5-week sessions, with Session I
beginning January 18 and Session II beginning February 22.
"We decided that for the sake of the kids' development and retention, a
consistent weekly program is essential," said Brian Elkevizth, York Little League Director of Player
Development. "Our goal is to build skills progressively, covering everything from base mechanics to
specialized pitching and catching instruction."
Addressing Affordability in Youth Sports
In an effort to make the sport accessible to all families in the community, YLL has
priced the clinics at just $50 for a full 5-week session, breaking down to only $10 per clinic.
"We want to make this as affordable as possible," the League stated.
"Any profit generated from these clinics will be reinvested directly back into player development
equipment and future league needs."

- Minors Baseball (6-9yo): 4:00 PM
